Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce the 2019 WSSFN Biennial Meeting which will take place in New York City at the Hilton Midtown Hotel, June 24-27, 2019.

Our WSSFN meetings have been changed from a quadrennial to a biennial format to build on the amazing growth and commitment of leaders in the field of stereotactic and functional neurosurgery. This is not an Interim meeting, but the WSSFN's major meeting reflecting the global interest and rapid advancements in the field.

We will assemble an international faculty of pioneers and leaders to present and discuss their clinical advances and innovative therapies. The meeting promises to be of high scientific caliber and will feature both exciting presentations and controversies which will both educate and challenge the attendees. Our audience truly reflects our name, World Society of Stereotactic and Functional Surgery. Based on the registration at previous meetings, we anticipate having a worldwide attendance of approximately 1000 participants including neurosurgeons, neurologists, neuroscientists, neuro-radiologists, and psychiatrists.

Since many of you are preparing your future budgets, if you have not done so already, we are asking you to consider supporting the meeting. All sponsors will have exhibit space and will be recognized in the meeting syllabus and signage. It will be aggressively marketed nationally and internationally through e-mailings, journal ads, calendar listings, and web links.

A sponsor prospectus with full details is available and can be found on the meeting website at www.wssfn-congress.org. You may also look for updates on the WSSFN website at www.wssfn.org

The Industry Liaison, Klinta Stala from Kenes Group, the meeting organizing company at kstala@kenes.com, or WSSFN Administrator, Melody Dian at mdian@centurytel.net will assist with any questions you may have about the 2019 meeting. Also, feel free to contact one of us.

We value your support and partnership in both developing and helping bring new therapies to our patients and in sponsoring our scientific meeting.

Please let us know of your interest in joining WSSFN at the 2019 meeting. We would look forward to working with you and having you a part of this exciting event!

Sincerely,

Michael Schulder, MD                   Nader Pouratian, MD
