The World Society for Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery is offering travel grants towards the cost of travel and accommodation for young neurosurgeons who wish to participate in the WSSFN meeting to be held in New York City, New York, June 24-27, 2019.
Grants range between USD $1,000 to $2,000 depending on the geographical location of the applicant and in consideration of travelled distance.
Candidates must be neurosurgery residents/fellows with special interest/training in Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery, and must have submitted an abstract to the meeting. Information on abstract submission can be found here.
Please complete and return the WSSFN travel grant application form and submit along with a copy of the abstract submitted to the meeting. Please note that residents/fellows born prior to 1979 will not be considered for this award.
The deadline for the receipt of completed travel grant applications is March 1, 2019. Successful awardees will be notified by April 1, 2019 and their registration fees will be waived. Delegates are expected to make their own travel plans and will receive the awards during the meeting in New York City.
